Below is a 2-page template of an information grid and a telephone call script that you can use to make telephone contact with your elected officials, (or more likely, one of their staff members,) in Washington, D.C.

This template advocates for acting to get rid of political and governmental dysfunction, by using No Labels ideas and ideals.  These ideas are common sense and pragmatic.

Contacting your representatives and asserting your expectations of their actions is a powerful way to combat political and governmental dysfunction.  Once you've looked up their contact information and reviewed the script, or what you want to say, a phone call to the local or D.C. office should take no longer than 15 minutes.  On rare occasions, you may be able to speak directly to your representative, but it is more likely a staff member will take a detailed message from you.  The script is written with the assumption that you will be speaking to a staff member.

Remember to be polite, and appreciative.  We may not agree with our representatives, but they do have a difficult job, and, most try to do a good job.

This script is just one idea that makes your voice heard.  You can modify it, or create your own.

Share this idea with your friends and neighbors.  The more constituents who call, the more likely your representative will listen and follow through.
