Question: What does the New Hampshire chapter do?
Quick Answer: We do outreach - as individuals and as part of group activities.
-
We talk with friends, family, colleagues, and people we meet.
-
We share No Labels' ideas and ideals, how a new politics of problem solving can and already has worked.
-
We provide reason for optimism, because after just a few years of strategic efforts, No Labels has reversed causes of decades of dysfunction.
-
There's still more to do, and practical solutions exist.
-
The more people who act, the sooner we will restore the functional and representative political and governmental institutions that our country's Founders put in place.
-
-
We tell people to hold elected representatives, and candidates, accountable to us.
-
We tell people to use their vote, and their voice, because both matter.
More Chapter Details:
Mission:
The primary activity of the New Hampshire chapter is outreach:
-
to create an informed and active citizenry, and
-
to hold representatives and candidates accountable to core principles that foster an effective representative democracy/republic.
Outreach:
We carefully select and streamline our outreach efforts to minimize demands on volunteers and resources, while maximizing positive impact.
We have outreach activities that focus on No Labels and related topics.
To create and informed and active citizenry, we outreach and engage with individuals and groups, at community events and venues, education, businesses and industry organizations, social organizations and others.
Internal Operations:
We communicate by email when necessary, and meet monthly to consider and plan for outreach opportunities for the group.
While we each keep informed of current events on our own, we may also discuss relevant matters, to achieve alignment with No Labels messaging and core principles.
Support:
We collaborate, mentor, and support each other.
We develop and maintain an online presence that enables members and citizens to contact representatives and candidates based on No Labels messaging and core principles.

-
That said, outreach on behalf of No Labels ideas and ideals is about more than us; and it's about more than No Labels.
-
Similar to what we expect from our representatives and candidates, our goal is learning and sharing, with a focus on what the country needs.
-
We want to promote critical thinking, among other characteristics of effective problem solving, so each person considers what our political system and government should be. We want to encourage the principles and efforts that are needed to capture the diverse range of ideas; to find that middle ground of effective compromise when needed, and act from those, so that we create and perpetuate a truly United States of America.
-
The more we learn and share, the more who become involved in this movement, the louder the voices and votes of reason will be, and the less impact those who act to divide us will have.
We need to keep adding to our voices who are already causing ideal changes that are restoring the democracy that our Founders intended for the United States of America.
